ABOUT US
Background
I completed two bachelor's degrees, one in Political Science and International Relations instructed in English in 2009 and the other in Spanish Language and Literature in 2018. In 2007, I received an Erasmus scholarship to study the third year of my undergraduate programme at the Institute for Social and European Studies (ISES) in Budapest, Hungary. As a result of my accomplishment there, I won a scholarship to attend the 13th Savaria International Summer University and acquired a certificate of achievement at the end of the programme. Upon completion of the first bachelor’s degree, including a scholarship granted by the EU Commission, I accomplished the master’s degree in Advanced European Studies in France. I got the opportunity to conduct short-term internships at several EU, UN, and NATO bodies in Switzerland, France, and Netherlands.
Learning languages and applying them in the service of others has been my passion ever since high school; therefore, this is a career that I have always felt so strongly about that I will always develop and expand this passion even further throughout my education and working career.
In addition to my academic credentials, I have obtained sound knowledge and comprehension of English and Spanish owing to my translation duties and responsibilities as an employee for two international companies that spanned more than five years.
Moreover, I became a certified translator for the English language in 2012 and for the Spanish language in 2019. Since then, I have continued to perform in this position well both as a freelancer and in team environments during my employment in the aforementioned companies.
Currently, I work as a certified translator for Turkish, English and Spanish languages with several public notaries in Istanbul and Izmir and make certified translations in a variety of fields, such as mainly legal, governmental, financial which for the most part require review, revision, editing, and communicating with clients besides consultation, if necessary.
